ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಭಾರಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ








Bengaluru:
Huge protest rally involving 8000 people was taken out on Saturday, the 28th of July 2007 from Lifestyle near Richmond road till Mahatma Gandhi statue on MG road.

They condemned the belittling of Entrepreneurs from Karnataka by other states. They submitted a memorandom to the "Chief Minister" and "Minister for Industry" of Karnataka requesting that licenses for new projects be given to only Kannadigas.

Karnataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) under the leadership of T.A. Narayana Gowda, protested against the manhandling of press in various places. They demanded that people who have menhandled the press be arrested under Goonda act.

Kannada school was was scrapped, and Tamil school was installed in that place. This happened in Hubli district of Karnataka. Bheema Shankar Patil of Karanataka Rakshana Vedike (KRV), staged a protest in Hubli.

T.A. Narayana Gowda of KarnaTaka Rakshana Vedike (KRV) along with 500 men army, staged a protest in front of Kendirya sadana in Kormangala, Bangalore.
This protest was for showing its emotion against the Centre for not haveing given "Classical Language" status to Kannada.

Tiruvallavar statue was unvieled on July 4th 2007 in Halsoor with a motive to humiliate Kannadigas and Karnataka. But Karnataka Rakshana Vedike's timely action prevented this from happening. They demanded that, the statue be veiled again.
